A Spiritual Low

I received an email, from a person, I thought was a caring person, due to their love of animals. This person would and will do anything to protect any animal on the face of the earth.(I love that) Yet I realize now, that love and that concern stops with the animals. It appears this person chooses humans to care for, very carefully. It also seems that my e mailer only cares for humans, if their belief's agrees with like humans.

That email was so biased against our President and against the beliefs of “our President” and his family; it took me by total surprise. Each religion, each belief, each person has the right by our constitution to practice their own faith anyway they want. Don’t they? At least I thought we still had that right. I was raised to respect the President of the United States of America. Whether we voted for him/her didn’t matter. This seems to have changed over the past decade and is getting uglier each year. And it doesn’t seem to matter whether the President is Democrat or Republican. I believe this goes along with my count down and the need that we as humans have to make a shift in our thinking. Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer in freedom of speech. (Or I could not write my personal views on this blog) however, I still believe as a collective consciousness we need to support our President and not attack their, or anyone’s religion, their race or their looks. I will not pass this disturbing email to anyone, nor will I expose this person, but I hope with this post I have planted a seed for anyone who reads this will pass it on. I believe we all need to stop this disrespect of anyone who cannot, or refuses to address such negative voices we as Americans fought so hard to defend.

Part 1, 12-21-2012 Countdown

As promised I want to express some facts and some views about the upcoming 2012 event. I am personally in a countdown phase of my own. D and I are renewing our vows over the July 4, weekend. I will address that countdown in my food blog. The other countdown I am also excited about is 12-21-2012. Even the date seems to hint this will be a special time in our lives. I think to be aware of this is a great gift from the Universe.

It is amazing that our ancient ancestors left us messages in different vehicles, regarding what the end of this cycle of our world as we know it, will mean for all us. So I will pass on the information I have researched, and offer a few of my own instinctive thoughts on the subject. Personally I believe that their prophesies were not left to scare us that the world would end, but given to let us know it is the way we individually and collectively deal with how we perceive how these changes affect our world. It won’t matter what religion you are, what belief system you are attached to or what path you are on. This shift has been in process since 1980, we are well into it. This is one event man cannot preach away or stop. We can only embrace this.

Personally I am looking forward to 12-22-2012, the day after. The shift will be complete, and most of our questions will be answered.

What has the Egyptians, Mayans, Hopi Indians, Dead Sea Scrolls, Bible Code, and Astrology, Planet alignment and finally, energy and the Sphinx all have in common? I will speak about all these in the upcoming weeks.

The Good With The Not So Good

My Spirit has been a bit low lately, however this week I am renewed. Let me say first, I want to celebrate the fact we have three females sitting on the Supreme Court. We were promised change and we are getting it as far as I am concerned. My favorite era was the 60’s and I feel we are reaping a few rewards from that time. So I feel really great about this. Now if we can all try and just give her a chance to prove herself, before tearing her down, would be step in the right direction.

This Oil spill has me a bit sad and questioning why we aren’t doing a bit more to save more of the 400 different wild life trying to survive man kind’s mess. I am not on the forefront so I won’t begin to criticize what is going on. However I am praying that the Universe takes over and assists these helpless creatures now.

My other thought of the week, is boundaries. Yep just boundaries, I was a bit shocked that a California High School Principle did not stop a “Chippendale” like strip show during a talent presentation at this High School. I previewed it, and found it not appropriate for this age group. I don’t understand this public behavior in a high school for any reason. It has been reported that the vice principle has been put on leave until this issue is investigated. I know this was bad judgment, however someone needs to take responsibility for the children they are paid to supervise.
